If your birthday month falls in January, February or March, prayerfully consider joining our group. The HOPE (Helping Others Through Prayer and Encouragement) Cluster meets every other month. We are responsible for the morning prayer line and prayer bowl requests.

If your birthday month falls in April, May, or June, prayerfully consider joining our group. We have an on-going project-the Yokefellow Food Pantry and coffee drive for the VA Hospital in Salisbury, NC. Some of our members sing at rest homes, visit the sick, feed the homeless, and work with the food truck here at the church.

If your birthday month falls in July, August, or September, prayerfully consider joining our group. Our mission and ministry is to emulate the wishes of our Savior which is to be of service to others. Our motto is "Grow to Serve and Serve to Grow". The focus of the Servant Ministry is on the youth and elderly. We meet the 2nd Sunday of each month right after morning service.

The Light of Christ ministry cluster
If your birthday month falls in October, November, or December, prayerfully consider joining our group. The Light of Christ started donating to Autism Speaks in 2009. The congregation tyupically donates annually. Our cluster chose this organization to support because our focus is on children.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
progressive women
Our Progressive Women Organization leads ongoing efforts including collecting medical supplies for Honduras mission trips, donating toiletries to local nursing homes, providing meals for 5th Street Ministries homeless shelter, and delivering necessities to Dove House, a shelter for battered women and children. Check out our women's group if you are interested in our ongoing efforts.

As women gather to study God’s Word, we grow our faith and find meaningful connection. The Presbyterian Women's Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, We commit ourselves: To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, To support the mission of the church worldwide, To work for justice and peace, and To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strenghtens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month for business and bible study.

Social Committee
Our group manages the ongoing social health of the church. We organize regular church-wide fellowship activities, such as potlucks, picnics, and socials. We plan special celebratory events for the congregation. Check out our social committee if you enjoy planning for social events and enjoy others who coordinate with other ministries to ensure all church members feel connected.

The worship committee is a permanent fixture of church life that oversees and enhances all aspects of the church's worship services. Our group assists the pastor in planning regular and special services. Our group is a critical, ongoing administrative committee responsible for filling church leadership positions. We identify, vet, and nominate qualified church members to serve in leadership roles throughout the year. If you are spiritually mature, committed to the health of the entire congregation and possess a variety of relational and organizations skills, consider our group to prayerfully identify individuals with the gifts and passion to serve the church's mission.

Christian Education MINISTRY
christian education
Christian education is a ministry of education that demonstrates faith and love of Jesus Christ, a dedication to a life of faith that is serious in purpose, honest in character, and joyful in service. We have responsibility of providing for spiritual growth of members, teaching the Bible, recommending curriculum materials and resources, training and supporting lay workers, planning and administering education programs. Learning and growing are lifelong parts of the Christian faith. There is always more to know about God, creation, and ourselves. We have three groups that make up our Christian Education programs: Youth Organization, Youth Sunday School, and Adult Sunday School.

Music Ministry
Praise & Worship Team
The Praise & Worship Team's mission is to glorify and praise God through song. The goal is to be innovative and creative in presenting our ministry so that we may engage our Youth, our adults and our seniors. We sing two selections on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Our team feels very blessed that we are experiencing spirtual growth within our group and the presence of the Holy Spirit continues to be present, alive and working as we minister through song. We continue to learn new songs and we are excited about the possibilies for our ministry. As always, we extend an open invitation to anyone who wants to join our team.

AV Team
The Audio-Visual Ministry enhances worship experiences through multimedia technology, managing sound, video, and visual presentations to engage the congregation and support church activities. Our ministry aims to create a more engaging and immersive worship environment through the use of audio and visual elements. We welcome anyone who wants to join our team.
